How do I enter the unlock code on my phone?

For all Motorola’s (with the exception of MPX and CDMA/TDMAs):

1. Turn on your phone with a SIM card that isn’t allowed.
2. The screen should show “Enter Special” or “Subsidy Code”
3. Now enter the unlock code we have sent to you.
4. Your phone will be unlocked.

If any of the following messages appear:

• Contact Service Provider
• Tamper Alter
• Wait before enter special code
• Contact service

It is usually because you have already entered too many wrong codes. To solve this, leave your phone ON with the error message, and after 1-8 hours the Enter Code Special will appear again.

If your phone is on a 3G network, just enter **057* and another window will open so that you may enter the unlock code.

For Motorola CDMA/TDMA:

1. Simply press 74663# [Menu][Menu], and it will ask for a subsidy code.
2. Enter the code.
3. Your phone will unlock instantly.

Motorola MPX

We will supply you with 2 unlock codes. One is the network pin number and the other is a service provider pin.

1. Switch ON your phone with a SIM card that isn’t allowed.
2. If the phone asks for a Network Pin, then enter the one we’ve sent you.
3. If the phone asks for Service Provider Pin, then enter the one we’ve sent you.
4. You phone will now be unlocked.

Other MPX FAQs:

My phone is asking for NETWORK PUK and a new password two times. If I enter the code from you, I get a message “Operation not supported by this SIM card”. What do I do?

If you still have the original card, then:

Turn the power on with the original SIM card in the phone. Access the menu
• Type in * # * * 364 # and press your green button
• You will receive an error message but right after it you will then see Engineering Menu
• Click on OPTIONS
• Click GSM TEST
• Select SEND AT COMMAND
• When you see a new window with SEND AT COMMAND, type AT+CLCK=”PN”,0,”[SERVICE PROVIDER PIN or NETWORK PIN]”
• Press SEND
• If you get a response of “0” []” your phone is unlocked
• If you get 1 error, make sure you typed in the correct code and try the other code

If you don’t have the original card, then:

Switch your phone off.

• Take the battery out and then put it back in. Power up the phone again.
• The handset will now ask you to enter NETWORK PUK. Simply put the phone down and don’t touch it for at least two hours.
• After the two hours, the screen will change. You can then enter the code received from uniquephones.com followed by 00000000 (eight zeroes) as a new password.
The phone will be unlocked now.

The screen is asking for a SERVICE PROVIDER PUK and a new password to be entered twice. I entered the code you sent me but the screen keeps saying OPERATION NOT SUPPORTED BY THIS SIM CARD. What then?

You will need to have the original card and then follow these instructions:

• Power the phone ON with the original card.
• When you have access to the MENU, type in * # * * 3 6 4 # and press your green button.
• You will receive an error message followed by ENGINEERING MENU
• Click OPTIONS
• Click GSM TEST
• Select SEND AT COMMAND
• In a new window, you will see SEND AT COMMAND
• Type in AT=CLCK=”PP”,0 “[SERVICE PROVIDER PIN or NETWORK PIN]” ...then press send.
• A response of “0” [] means the phone is still locked
• A response of “1” means you need to make sure you typed in the correct code and try the other one.
• If you don’t have the original card, if the original card isn’t accepted because of using other software, then we won’t be able to help you with the unlocking process.
