Local SIM Card	Always try to top up online prior to departure but should you need additional minutes, you can purchase top up vouchers in Austria at kiosks, supermarkets, petrol stations and other outlets. The sign for your SIM card provider will show on the window or door of outlets who sell top ups.
Money	Austria uses the Euro for currency. ATMs are widely available and are called 'bankomats'. Check with your bank if your credit/atm card is older. You may need a new one to comply with updated European banking laws. Credit cards are widely accepted except in small shops. Please ask before hand.
Electrical	The voltage in Austria is 220V. Purchase adaptors prior to departure. Remember that purchasing at airports is the most expensive way. While adaptors may be available in larger Austrian cities, you are not likely to find them in more suburban or rural areas.
