Unfortunately, we were forced to raise our prices for Motorola cable unlocking. This price increase was forced upon us by our supplier as a number of competitors had complained that our prices were “uncompetitively low”. We were very angry about this and considered it was highly unfair for our customers.

In return we have cut our Motorola unlock codes by 30%, this price isn’t regulated and you don’t require a cable to unlock your handset. We have also decreased the average order competition time to under an hour during business hours by using a network of suppliers.

Over Christmas we were working hard to expand the number of handsets we unlock, and we added over 400 new handsets.

Cingular Unlocking

We can now generate unlock codes for almost any Cingular handset, this includes the Samsung BlackJack, Motorola L2, and the BlackBerry 8700c. If your handset is currently on Cingular we can unlock it. Cingular unlock codes take 24 - 48 hours to generate and as always this service is guaranteed to unlock your handset.

T-Mobile Unlocking

We can also generate unlock codes for T-Mobile USA BlackBerry handsets. If you have a T-Mobile BlackBerry, we have an unlock code for it. These codes are generated a little quicker than the Cingular unlock codes and we hope to expand this service to all T-Mobile handsets very soon.

Samsung Unlocking

We have also increased the number of Samsung handsets we unlock by over 100. Our new Samsung Unlocking is more stable than before and is still the same price.

Motorola Unlocking

We have also added 11 new Motorola handsets, we now unlock the Motorola V3i, Motorola V3v, Motorola V3r, Motorola V7, Motorola V7v, Motorola V360, Motorola V360v, Motorola V235, Motorola L2, Motorola L6, and the Motorola U6. We can now also generate an unlock code for Motorola handsets without using a cable. Motorola unlock codes take longer to process, however during business hours we are averaging 1 hour to process orders.

Vodafone Unlocking

Finally, we have added Vodafone UK unlocking. We can now generate unlock codes for any handset locked to Vodafone UK, excluding Nokia handsets. Vodafone unlocking includes new Sony Ericsson handsets, BlackBerry, Samsung, Motorola and lots of others.

Today we got some excellent news. Cell phone unlocking has always been legal, but until today there has never been a law covering it explicitly.

As of Monday 27th November 2006, a new law introduced by the U.S. Copyright Office will make mobile phone unlocking completely legal under part 5 of the Rulemaking on Anticircumvention. It states:

“5. Computer programs in the form of firmware that enable wireless telephone handsets to connect to a wireless telephone communication network, when circumvention is accomplished for the sole purpose of lawfully connecting to a wireless telephone communication network.”
